Description

A rare and unusual form of a French Culpeper-type microscope by Jecker.

This microscope is not signed but absolutly similaire to the number 80 from the Nachet collection which was signed “Jecker à Paris”.

The three legs are of unusual shape and decoration.

The microscope is in pristine, genuine condition and absolutly complete : 5 objectives (one lost its lens), its substage miror, its stage forceps, its bullseye, its Bonnani stage and its fishplate.

Furthermore, the microscope is preserved in its original wooden case different from the UK examples.

The microscope average height is 34-35 and the case is 38cm.
