Description
A very rare example of the smallest existing (?) Auzoux’s anatomical model with moveable parts of all organs and made in papier mache. The model is datable circa 1920s’.
The model measures 35cm height, 42on its rectangular wooden stand, and his contemporary box measures 53x23x22cm.
The model is well preserved with a fine patina, complete with all its organs. The skullcap can be removed but the brain is fixed.
The anatomical model is displayed in a woodenn glass and mirror box from the time but not original, but making it a superb display with the mirror allowing to see at the back and the glass allowing the see all the sides.
