Description

A good spyglass with seven drawtubes made in silvered copper and green paper imitating the leather. 

The spyglass bears the hallmark «NAB» with a star of Nicolas Anselme Bourdet who was active in Paris from 1809 to 1820. Below the hallmark, the word «doublé» for the small objects silvered.

The spyglass is preserved in its original box in red morocco.

 

A crack at the lens of the eyepiece but without any trouble for the view, the crack is out of the otpical focus. Small spots at the morocco and very small lack at the green paper, otherwise very good condition.

Size elongated 10,5 cm and 4,5 cm diameter.
