Description

A very rare exmple of an artificial eye invented by Mergier around 1885-1888, made and commercialized by Eugene Ducretet.

This is a very rare model of an artificial eye, here complete of its optical part simulating the cornea and the retina with a scale.

Otherwise this eye was used on a optical bench with light and glass condensor.

A very rare ophtamological eye ny a famous French maker.
