Description

A cased and well preserved example of the nice tripode simple Watson-type simple dissecting microscope signed “W. Heath Plymouth”.

The microscope is preserved in its original box with two original lenses (a third is a late replacement), its three dissecting instrument and one pair of scissors.

The microscope is composed with a lens holder moving up and down by rack and pinion under a glass painted black stage.

The condition is generally good excepted some small lack of painting on the stage. The original mirror is also well preserved.

A little rare and attractive model f British simple microscope.

The case measures 18x18x14 cm
