Description

This silver-cased compass sundial is either French made for the English market, or possibly English in the French manner. It is unsigned. The white enamel compass rose has 32 marked points, 16 of them named. The silver dial plate is supported by three silver struts, the ial engraved V – XII, I – VII divided to 10 minutes, the gnomon also in silver
