SOLD – Circa 1800 drum microscope measuring 25 cm racked down, 30.5 cm racked up and with an additional push / pull of the draw tube of 8 cm; total height 38 cm. The rack and pinion work nice & smoothly without snag. It has a 42 mm mirror and accessories include a stage magnifyer, stage forceps, stage bracket, tweezers, talc box (holding cover slip rings), 3 slides and 6 lenses.
Number 5 objective is missing but there are two number 6 objectives which have different size apertures. They can be seen on the far right of the picture showing the lenses. One looks slightly different but they all screw onto the nosepiece correctly.
The main body of the drum has graduated engravings of 1 to 6.
One spring clip missing to the underside of the stage.
No cracks to the case but a little loss to the plush lining. With lock but no key.
There is no damage and all working nicely.
