Description

A rare and early massive bronze level for surveying or architecture use. The instrument is unsigned but it typical from the North Italy production from the late 16th century/very early 17th century

The level have rich flower additionnal decorations around the level itself. It is based on two large feet with hole certainly to fix the level one a plate or another instrument.

The half-circle is divided in 1 to 7 and 7 to 1.

A very nice display and an early instrument. It measures 17,5×12,4 cm.
