A handcrafted antique copper and brass dissecting microscope from the 19th century.

The microscope measures around 16×20 cm.

The square stand are made in copper, the dissecting valets too and the remaining parts in brass. The mirror is a large rectangular plate.

This optics is composed with a one lens one the eye-side and two achromatic doublet on the plate-side.

The microscope is in working condition even if it is not very simple to be used.

A quite unusual and intriguing fabrication.
