A superb equatorial astronomical telescope signed two times (on the stand and on the telescope itself) : R. Mailhat 41 boulevard Saint-Jacques Paris”. The stand is also signed “Pied à inclinaison variable” and numbered “138”.

This is a quite complexe and large astronomical telescope measuring 143 cm lenght and around 13cm diameter with a counterweight for the inclinaison of telescope and a very heavy counterweight for the entire telescope and the equatorial movement.

The stand is based on a tripod foot with level and compass.

A rare model, in great condition.
