Description

A very interesting unfinished large French universal achromatic microscope made after the famous Charles Chevalier microscope maybe bu Buron or another contemporary maker.
The microscope is unfinished, that means is has no optics, it is notfully machined with crude parts (especially for the accessories as the bulleye and the mechanical stage) and not vernished.
We can suppose that this example in particular was a reference model in the Buron’s workshop and was used for reference in making new microscope.
The microscope preserved several accessories and it is virtually complete.

An interesting and rare piece.
The box measures 35x28x12 cm.
