Description
A matching set of two mathematical instruments bearing the same signature, “Quillet à Paris,” dating them to around 1770.
A brass French Sector engraved with the eight classic scales: “chords,” “solids,” “metals,” “cannonball weights,” “equal parts,” “calibers,” “polygons,” and “planes.” Length when closed: 17.3 cm.
A *pied de roi* or half-foot rule that functions as a square and a level. Length when closed: 17.7 cm.
