Description

SOLD – A very nice “Astro 28” travelling telescope in wooden case by Carl Zeiss, circa 1925, numbered 9120. It has a 60 mm objective lens ( # 11275 ), the rack and pinion has a fine vernier with graduations to the tube. Accessories include a polar prism, eye-piece extension tube / lens adapter, height extension tube, a Kellners Ocular and various eye-pieces of  various magnifications.

The tripod, telescope and accessories are all stored in the original wooden pine case.

The chains which secure the lower legs are a later edition by the previous owner.

The condition throughout is excellent with very little loss to the enamel barrel. The brass work retains the original lacquer. Optics are excellent.
