Description
C1845 box-base Cary/Gould type microsope. Signed: “J.P. Cutts & Sutton, Opticians to her Majesty, Sheffield and London.” Original lacquered brass, concave single mirror, with rack and pinion focusing. Overall height 12.25″; case dimensions: 7.75″ x 5.25″ x 2.25″. One eyepiece, 4 screwable objectives, tweezers, stage forceps and three bone slides in fitted mahogany case.
