An old copy of a small (20 cm diameter) celestial globe by Vincenzo Coronelli made in Italy, probably in Rome or Florence, in the late nineteenth century or early twentieth century.
This globe is not a facsimile or photoengraving but an antique copy from a 1700 Coronelli celestial globe with printed gores.
The globe bear a cartouche dated 1700 and another cartouche with the signature “Vincentio Coronelli”.
The globe is mounted on a base with four columns.
Despite a restoration in the upper part of the globe and some wormholess without gravity on the wooden parts, good general condition.
