Description
Used to measure the air flow in mines, it folds flat for storage. The spirit level at the base is swivelled to act as a stand. The spirit is in tact. The counter balance weight fits into the side of the frame and is locked in place by a catch.

I served my Scientific Instrument Making Apprenticeship with W F Stanley and expanded my expertise in other companies. I have manufactured, restored, bought and sold scientific instruments for 63 years and I am still active in the business. In 1976 I opened a shop in Bermondsey, London and then went on to trade in the Portobello Road, now I am only selling online. I am a founder member of the SIS Society.
