Description
The face is engraved with a calendar having 7 columns and 9 lines surrounded by 4 angel heads. On the 8th line are the astronomical symbols of the 5 main planets, the sun and the moon. The last line represents the day of the week.
The reverse is engraved with eight concentric circles divided into different sectors representing the days of the moon, the months written in abbreviated form with their number of days, sunrise and sunset, and the zodiac.
A rare perpetual calendar with exceptionally delicate angel heads.
