Early Microscope by Carl Zeiss Jena, with double number; fully made of brass, original lacquered, 1874, hight 10 1/2″ (27 cm); complete with 3 oculars (No. 2, 3, and 4) and 2 objectives (A and D) in signed brass cannisters; all accessories in perfect condition. Coarse focussing by hand, fine focussing on top of the pillar; signature on the stage “C. Zeiss Jena 1.238 2.109”; mechanically and optically very good , cosmetically very good condition; original box in good condition.
