Description

A good ebony octant by ‘Chrichton Bros., 11 Billiters St., London’  measuring 11″ in length, with handle to the reverse. All mirrors and shades are very good, nothing missing, the scale and vernier are excellent. In original case (crack to lid) with two telescopes and mirror adjusting key.

 

Chrichton Brothers moved to Billiter Street in 1869 and were last recorded there 1877.
