Perfect optics and a rare signature with 4 addresses c. 1860. 40 mm. object lens diameter, 15 mm. ocular lens diameter, 90 mm. fully extended, 75 mm. closed. Signed Negretti and Zambra, Opticians, London. 1 Hatton Garden, 59 Cornhill, 122 Regent Street, 153 Fleet Street. c.1860. Case with scuffs measures 120 x 90 x 55 mm. with handle and secure clasp. These were produced as a special order at the height of the firm. A spectacular example with a seldom seen signature.
