A Charles Fery-type refractometer signed “F. Pellin Paris”, circa 1900

 

This type of refractometer was used for precision measurement of the refractive index “n” of liquids.

 

The present example is oxyded.

The optics is complete, the main optic tube can be screwed and the aperture can be slide right and left but the vernier is stuck.

Need some restoration even if the instrument is still working like this.

36 cm lenght and 36,5 cm height.
