A fine (rarely used) Filar micrometer eyepiece for a large (No. 1 or 2) Watson microscope c.1890. All brass construction with a silvered micrometer dial (o-90). Saw tooth guide and all micrometer hairs intact. Untouched condition with bright brass, 23 mm. OD adapter to the microscope. Signed “W.Watson and Sons, 313 High Holborn, London, Ltd.”. No case. 85 x 55 x 35 mm.
