Description

Single element OG lens (1 inch dia.), three lens internal system instead of 4 (Schyrle), square shoulder, two draw, perfect yew wood barrel, sliding lens covers, tight with a sharp image. No cracks or dents, all screws intact. 1 1/4 inches x 8 inches closed (19 inches open). A fine early c.1800 telescope with unusual optics. Unsigned but of the highest quality of the day.
