Description
First-generation X-Ray induction coil by Queen & Co. Length of mahogany base is just under 20″ or 50 cm. Similar to those shown in the Queen 1901-02 “Standard X-Ray Apparatus” catalog. X-ray equipment dating from the first ten years after Rontgen’s 1895 discovery is scarce. This coil appears to be complete, untouched and in good condition. The metal portions ,which are largely brass, will clean up brightly– if one so wishes. We prefer to leave it as found. It weighs about 30 lbs, so shipping costs will not be negligible.
