A good selection of bar limb monocular microscopes, all with mechanical stages ( the # 2-centre- with unusual under stage design and earliest serial number). The tallest being 20 inches (racked down) , the smallest 17 inches. All with limited accessories, the latter two cased in cubic mahogany boxes, the #3 with large bullseye condenser. The number 2 with small bullseye and fish/frog plate. The number 1 is pre-RMS with three wonderful (large 3 inch) objectives. All with distinctly different substage designs and accessories showing the evolution of the Ross design over a 20 year span. Cosmetically good to fine. Working rack and pinions. Signed and serialised. The number 1 weighs close to 9 kilos (20 pounds). #2 has the most unusual features as Ross seemed to be trying new ideas (Dancer influenced?). One off ??? Shipping may be an issue in these economic times. Local pickup preferred. More detailed photos upon request.
