Description

A good pair of equal arm coinage/gold scales in oval, black enamelled metal case with baize and silk liner.

Finely chiselled steel beam, gallows, indicator, end caps and pivot points. Original stringing to the 4 cm. brass pans. Beam is 11.5 cm. long. Original tassel and 1 Guinea wt. included (obverse blank, so hard to date).  Case measures 12.5 x 6 x 1.5 cm. deep.
