31cm/12 inch wrought iron wing dividers dating from the 18th century, most likely German. Two thumbscrews and a butterfly wing nut with hand-threaded screw allow for very fine adjustments of the legs. The dividers are beautifully decorated throughout with fine file worked details. In excellent condition and fully functional.
