Description

I have had few Mammoth ribs in my time, always makes my blood rush with pleasure.  It is difficult to find North Sea mammoth items as the European Union (quite rightly) has stopped bottom sea trawling. However, here in one in very good condition.

The rib comes from a mammoth called Mammuthus Primigenius. It was found on the Brown Fishing Bank in the North Sea.

It is interglacial, Pleistocene Period, 30 to 50,000 years old.
