Two medical admission tickets  issued by American schools that have since closed.  The Philadelphia College of Medicine was in existence between 1838 and 1859, when it merged with the medical department of Pennsylvania College–the latter institution closed its doors in 1861.  Miami Medical College of Cincinnati, Ohio was in operation between 1866 and 1909.  Dimensions: Miami card: 4.5″ 3.25″; Phila. card: 5″ x 3.75″. Back of Phila cards shown in second image;  the back of the Miami card is blank. Both cards in vg condition.
