Description
These spectacular mother of pearl binoculars are engraved with their makers name, Negretti and Zambra. This London company eventually became opticians & scientific instruments to Queen Victoria , Prince Albert & King Edward VII. The optics are excellent and the winder moves freely and pushes the lenses in and out as it should. There is some repair work on the bottom mother of pearl plate that holds the winder, which reflects in the price. They are 13.5cm long when extended and 10.5cm when closed. They are 12cm wide at the base. There is a velvet lined case which is not original.
