Description

A single draw ‘Officer of the Watch’ presentation telescope, signed on the single draw, ‘Voigtlander & Sohn. A-G. Braunschweig’. Also engraved (numbered) 16924.

The sun visor is engraved, ‘Admiralty Prize for Meritorious Examination, Awarded to, Sub Lieut. G.A. Barratt. R.N. 1912’.

It measures 43.5 cms closed and 57 cms fully drawn with an objective lens diameter of 3 cms and gives excellent images when viewed through.

The sun visor, collars and eye piece are constructed in nickel silver. The draw tube is chrome.
