Second world war ‘Officer of the Watch’ nickel silver telescope, larger than standard size with the barrel having a 4.5 cms diameter, nickel silver construction with dark brown leather covering, measuring 42 cms closed and 56.5 cms with the single draw fully out. Engraved, ‘W. Ottway & Co. Ltd, Ealing, London. No 468. Patt.373’ with ray shade and dust slider to the eye piece. It gives an excellent image when viewing. Each part is engraved ‘468’.
