SOLD – A good lacquered brass 3 draw telescope with brass tripod. It has a leather covered barrel, lens cap and dust slider to the eyepiece. The legs of the tripod are stored inside the column and screw onto the column base. The telescope fixed into position via a clamp and thumb wheel.
Height of the telescope on the tripod is 15.75″ ( 40 cms ) and has a foot span of 9.5″.
The telescope measures 32″ ( 81 cms ) fully open and 10″ ( 25.5 cms ) closed with an objective lens of 1.5″ ( 4 cms ).
Very clean and in good working order giving an excellent image when viewed.
Contained in pine case ( 13″ x 5″ ) with two locking clasps. The case is free of cracks and holds an additional eyepiece with a sun filter.
