SOLD – A nickel silver set of drawing instruments by A.G. Thornton with some paints below including odds & ends and a 6″ brass protractor. The inlaid plaque to the lid inscribed, ‘Thompson Prize. R. Povey, Horwich, R.M.I., 1903’. The case 14.5″ x 5.5″ x 3.5″.
The Horwich Railway Mechanics Institute was formed on 15th December 1888 (south Lancashire U.K.).
