Description
A good, late-19th century, ear trumpet walking stick. The ear trumpet is japanned tin. It retains its original wooden shaft but the the metal ferrule has worn off the end. It, nonetheless, remains full length. The owner’s initials are stamped on the base of the ear trumpet where it joins the shaft. We’ve attached an image of a page from a C1904 Mathieu catalog showing a very similar stick.
