Description
A fine Travis roller-type mechanical stage patented by J. Swift & Son c. 1895. Signed, serialised with patent number. Fully functional, original lacquer. Probably for the histological/bacteriological models as the stage was slotted for this type of accessory up until 1920. Operates on twin worm and screw with steel rod to knurled knob.
