Description
A fine wood and brass clinometer with small inset green dial compass with folding sight and prism, intact 2″ bubble level and telescope to the top with cross sights giving a clear inverted image. With various scales engraved to the wood and brass, the instrument is signed, ‘Apps. 499 Strand, London. Patented 1876. No 99’. (Bagot’s patent 1876).
The clinometer is half an inch thick and is contained in a plush lined moroccon case.
