A stunning and rare set of bullion/coinage and apothecary scales in green velvet lined, black leather case with silver hinges and clasp/hasp. Consisting of a chiseled beam, indicator and drop to chains and 1.5″ pans, apothecary cup with spout and S-shaped handle, tamper, scoop and 30 coinage weights (old Islamic coins dating to 1881-1299[AH], ground to 1.6g [one pennyweight]). All parts testing to coinage silver (90%) in composition except for the full set of brass apothecary weights(including wafer weights). A more sought after set of scales rarely offered on this site.
