SOLD -A very good tulip frame sextant, signed, ‘Mc Millan & Talbott, 13 Tower Hill, London’. All 7 shades are damage free. Both mirrors are very clear but there is a scratch to the index mirror but not on the surface …. it is at the back of the mirror. The silver scale reads to 135 degrees, the vernier reading to 15 seconds of arc.

Contained in mahogany case with a telescope, sighting tube, eye piece shade and adjusting pin. With trade label for B. R. Cousens. Escutcheon missing to lid.
