Description
A very rare form of handle topographic and maritime prismatic compass invented around 1908 by Alphonse Berget and preserved in its original traveling case. The present example is not signed by the makers were Vion or Morin.
Alphonse Berget was an important French physicist, geophysicist and oceanographer.
