Description

A wooden cased thermometer measuring 10.5 inches long ( 12.5″ over-all ), 2.25″ wide and 1.25″ deep.

The ivory back plate engraved with maker’s mark (Ramsden, London) and numbers, letters etc relating to temperature.

The small piece of wood to the base is a replacement and could be improved by a competent person.

The top pediment can be removed to access the thermometer.
