Description

A good, clean portable folding microscope signed, ‘W. Watson & Sons Ltd, London, 17432’. It stands 22 cms when racked down, the inner draw tube with push / pull focussing and rack and pinion to the main tube. It has a sub stage diaphragm and condenser and a 42mm plano concave mirror. With fine focus thumb-wheel, two stage clips, one eye piece and two objectives: a Watson half inch and a Watson 3 inch.

The objectives screw into fixed holders inside the base of the case, the eye piece to a holder of the inner lid.

Unfortunately the lid has become detached. The case measures 18.5 x 9.3 x 12.2 cms
