A WWI era tripod mounted “Century” telescope by W. Watson & Sons of Holborn, London. Circa 1917.

Instrument number: 1752

3 inch adjustable Watson-Conrady objective lens. Marked: WATSON-CONRADY. O.G. TYPE III.

Eyepiece by Broadhurst & Clarkson.

Brass body, with rack and pinion focussing, star finder and dew cap.

Case with accessories. (length of case: 123 cm).
