Description

A fine set of Ypelaar type specimen holders (9 cm. long) for use with this type of early microscope. Bone rings with steel handles and universal stage pin (4 mm.) ranging in size from 14-20 mm. dia. (one with small, stable shrinkage crack) together with a empty mahogany case numbered 1-12 that can accomodate the largest specimen size (22mm.). Tiny 25 mm. square lids with ebony buttons and green baise liners (number 6 has an old crack repair). Case measures 12 x 9 x 2.5 cm. with both hooks intact.
