Description
Signed very rare Ferdinand Ernecke, Berlin Microscope. This rare microscope has a marked case. It is c. 1859-1862. Ferdinand Ernecke was an instrument maker to the Kaiser. Accessories include 2 objectives (#4 and #7) and two eyepieces (#3 and #10). Stage is smooth and has no provisions for stage clips and the microscope is non-inclinable. Later models have stage clips and do incline. This instrument also has a substage condenser wheel with varying holes. Substage mirror is double sided plano-concave. Case is in good condition but has no key.
