Description

Brass double hourglass for an ecclesiastic, consisting of 2 hexagonal bases linked by 10 brass columns.

On one base, two opposing flaming hearts: one pierced by a dagger, the other surrounded by a crown of thorns and surmounted by a cross, with various geometric and leaf designs.

The other base features the same two flamed hearts, each surmounted by a crown.

Similar geometric designs with flowers and birds.

Bubbled and smoked glass, orange silica sand, brocade thread seal.

Dimensions: length 13.5 cm x height 15 cm.
