Description

A fine first-generation electric bulb proctoscope by W.A. Hirschmann of Berlin. This firm was founded in 1890 and acquired by Reiniger Gebberty & Schall, A.G. in 1909. The introduction of electrical illumination marked a giant stride forward diagnostically in fields such as ophthalmology, gastroenterology and urology. This set appears to be complete and is of the highest quality. Instruments are all in very good+ condition but cloth-covered wooden case shows wear.
