a 19 century self-recording maximum and minimum thermometer, in perfect working condition with fine carved solid oak back plate in total ca 50 cm /20 inches high

The thermometer consists of a specially made,painted Fahrenheit scale plate . The minimum thermometer reads from 10 to 130 degrees and the maximum from 20 to 120 degrees, both include a small magnetic pin to record the highest or lowest point of the reading at a particular point. These can be brought back to level, if necessary, using a weak magnet.
