Description

An excellent example of a brass and Galuchat spyglass with double power eyepiece by “Dollond in London” from the late 18th century.

The little psyglass has a contemporary French provenance : engraved on the inner tuber “A Louis Thierry” and some unidentified initials on the lid.

The little telescope gives a sharp image.

The thread of the lid doesn’t screw well.

The spyglass is preserved in its original case.

Case : 12,5cm lenght.
