Description
Favus (Latin for “honeycomb”) or “tinea favosa” is a fungal disease usually affecting the scalp, but occurring occasionally on any part of the skin.
Wax model by “Les fils d’Emile Deyrolle – 46 Rue du Ba. 46 – Paris”, in a wooden case with glass.
It’s dated 1926 behind the box, reporting a French handwritten description: “Favus du cuir cheveau(?). Modele 1926, n. 15”. A pencil handwritten says “Refinee (?), 31 Jan 1935”
In perfect condition, dimensions of the case: 38 x 33 x 13 cm
